First Graders went on a texture hunt in Art Class last week, and learned lots of words to describe the texture of their artwork!
Second graders combined bilateral drawing (drawing with both hands) and kinetic drawing (using their bodies) to exercise their brains in Art Class!

We are still practicing our soccer skills! Here are some pictures of the kids playing Soccer Minefield. They practiced dribbling the soccer ball without knocking over the pins. They are improving their soccer skills everyday!

We started soccer this week in PE! Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade practiced dribbling a soccer ball by playing Spaghetti & Meatballs. They had a blast!
Mrs. Hoffman's Kindergarten Class learned about using their letter sounds to label their ideas and pictures by practicing on Mrs. Hoffman! Students would pick something on Mrs. Hoffman to label, sound out the words with the letters they know, and then 'labeled' Mrs. Hoffman with Post-It Notes!
