Miss Jo from the U of I Extension Office came to see K-2nd grade PE classes today. She talked about germs and the proper way to wash your hands. The kids put magic lotion on their hands and looked at them under a black light. They washed their hands and then checked under the light again to see if they did a good job.



BSE Girls Basketball had a succesful night! The JH Girls advanced to the 2nd Round of Regionals with a win against Neoga. The HS Girls defeated South Central 61-28. Claire Wilhour led all scorers with 25 points and Natalie Oberlink grabbed 14 rebounds.

Congratulations to the SEB Cheerleaders on qualifying for State!!


Congrats to the SEB Boys Basketball Team and Cheer Squad for their finishes at the Mulberry Turkey Tourny. The boys finished 1st and the girls took 2nd place.

The kindergarten classes at BES celebrated Thanksgiving today with our annual Thanksgiving feast! Mrs. Carson’s class dressed as the pilgrims, and Mrs. Hoffman’s class dressed as the Native Americans. Thank you all for bringing in items for the celebration!





Jr. High math classes are gearing up for the holidays with an Elf math digital breakout!




Monday's 11/25 HS Girls Basketball game will be VARSITY ONLY at 6:00, it will be played @ StewStras High School.

Physical science students have recently been studying features of the moon. In these pictures, they are shown exploring how craters form, modeling the moon phases, and designing a sustainable lunar colony.
