We will be accepting nominations for the Bombers Sports Hall of Fame starting Oct 1st - Oct 31st, 2026. Nomination forms can be found on our school website or you can pick up a copy in our High School Office.

-Nominee must be a graduate, a player, a coach, a team, or a supporter of Brownstown High School Athletics (BHS Bombers or BSE Bombers)

-Nominee may be living or deceased.

-If the nominee is a graduate of BHS/SEHS, they must be out of school for 5 years before being eligible.

-Once nominated, a candidate will be considered for 5 years before going off the ballot.

Just a reminder: If your child is playing on the BES playground after school, especially during a baseball game, please make sure you're throwing away your trash and picking up before you leave. The playground has been left pretty messy after our home baseball games recently. Thanks!

School picture packets have arrived!! They went home with BHS students yesterday & will be coming home with BES students today.

Each student got a picture envelope whether you ordered a package or not with ordering instructions if you would like to order/reorder.

If you ordered a digital image those emails were sent out last week. If you didn't get an email please check your spam folder for an email from noreply@orderschoolpix.com. If not then contact Diekemper Photography at diekemperphotography@gmail.com or 618.283.9790.

Please view the pictures & if your child needs a retake please let Mercedes or Shelly know by Friday, October 16th & also return the picture envelope packet to the BES/BHS office.

Picture retake day will be held on Wednesday, October 21st for anyone that requests a retake plus any new or absent students from the original BHS 9.2/BES 9.3 picture days.

See You At The Pole was a great success this morning! Shoutout to the Brownstown FCA for leading and the local churches for feeding us all breakfast! About 100 people came out this morning to worship and pray for our school and community! ✝️💜💛✝️

BSE Sports Changes for Monday, Sept 21st:

HS Baseball EIC/MTC Tournament game today vs Ramsey has been postponed to tomorrow, Tues Sept 22nd @ 4:15pm.

They will then play their 2nd round game of the tournament on Wed Sept 23rd @ home vs TBD @ 4:15pm.

See You At The Pole 2026 will be on Wednesday September 23rd at 7:15am at the Brownstown HS flagpole. The Brownstown FCA will be leading our service and the local churches will provide breakfast afterwards. Please join us to pray for our school, community, and country! All are welcome!

It's IESA Fall Officials Appreciation Week and we gladly honored two of the best around; Bob and Mike! Thank you for all your years of service and your dedication to youth sports! We celebrated them with a goodie bag and gift card! 💜💛

Brownstown Schools combined together to have a 9-11 Remembrance Day. Students K-12, staff, & our local Brownstown Fire Department gathered together to say the Pledge of Allegiance, have a moment of silence, & ended with the playing of "God Bless the USA"- thanks to all who attended & honored our country on such an important day. 🇺🇸❤️💙

Order forms were give to BHS students in registration packets & sent home with BES students last Friday & there is also a copy attached. If you would like to order please return the order form & money to school by tomorrow Wednesday 9.2.

We are again using Diekemper Photography from Vandalia this year. We had a great experience last year with them & hope to provide you again with great portraits of your student.

If your child happens to be absent on picture day - retake day is scheduled for Wednesday 10.21.
