This year for Veteran’s Day, Mrs. Hoyle invited students from her 7th and 8th grade English classes, along with Mrs. Boaz’s 9th grade English class, to write letters to U.S. soldiers that are currently deployed to the Middle-East. Many of these soldiers have already been away from home for most of 2025.

Mrs. Hoyle was able to mail 57 student letters to soldiers!! We received a thank you from the soldiers in the form of a short digital message and a couple of photos.

“Tell your students that we all enjoyed reading the letters. Everyone loved them. Letters like these make us happy.” -SGT Gavis

Brownstown Junior Senior High School Needs Your Help!
With the government shutdown, many families in our community are facing difficult times. To provide support, we’re starting our annual food drive early this year to benefit both Caring and Sharing and our Local Food Pantry.
We encourage everyone to contribute in any way possible! Once again, we’ll hold class competitions—the goal is to block a classroom door. Any class that meets that criteria will win a bowling party! The competition begins Thursday, Nov. 6th and runs through Nov. 20th. Thank you for your generosity, and good luck to all participating classes!

Congratulations to Madelyn Elam for being selected as Brownstown JR/Sr. High School's A - Squad student of the 1st quarter. To be selected to the A -Squad, a student has to put others above self, be a positive role model, and be a good ambassador for our school community. Congratulations Madelyn. We are so proud of you!
