BES 2nd quarter Honor Roll & High Honor Students! We are super proud of you!!











Due to the forecasted hazardous winter weather conditions, all schools in Brownstown CUSD 201 will be closed on Wednesday 02/12. This decision is made with the safety of our students, staff, and families in mind. We encourage everyone to stay safe and avoid unnecessary travel during this winter weather event. Congratulations to the SEB Eagles for winning 1st place at the St. Elmo High School Fresh/Soph Basketball Tournament.
Benji Lowe, Dodge Willms, and Jack Wilhour were selected to the All Tournament Team.

Mrs. Mayer's7th Grade Classes are using a new card game strategy to read their Novel Unit. The game is called RIOT and is as competitive as UNO.

Mrs. Carson and Mrs. Hingson's kindergarten classes had a fun time celebrating the 100th Day of School as they dressed like they were 100 years old and spent the day practicing counting to 100 in multiple ways!






The SEB 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team took 3rd place at the Vandalia Tournament this week.
The SEB Cheerleaders won 1st place in the Cheer Compeititon.
Mason Schaub was awarded the MVP for the tournament.
Congratulations to all!



Reminder: the final Bombers Basketball Clinic games are rescheduled for this Saturday Feb 1st at the BHS Gym. This is the makeup date from Jan 11th.


The SEB 7th Grade Boys Basketball Team played for the Regional Championship last night vs. St. Anthony.
Tanner Miller was chosen for the Sportsmanship Award at the end of the game.
Congrats Eagles on a great season!


Sophomores toured the OKAW center, gained some hands on experience, and now have a better idea of what careers may suit them.











Career Day was a success at Brownstown Junior Senior High School! Thanks to all the presenters that gave up their day to be here. It was an amazing opportunity for our students!









The BSE High School Girls Basketball team took 2nd place at the NTC Tournament tonight. Dayana Haslett & Madi Miller were chosen for the All Tournament Team. Congrats on a great tournament!


The BSE High School Girls Basketball team is playing in the NTC Tournament Championship Game tomorrow, Saturday Jan. 25th, @ 7:30pm @ Beecher City High School vs. St. Anthony. The Brownstown/St. Elmo Sports Boosters will pay for the admission of all Brownstown & St. Elmo Jr. High and High School students that want to come and cheer on the Bombers (7th-12th grade)
Students: Please come to the back gym door at Beecher City High School to the ticket table between 7:00-7:15pm tomorrow night and find Mrs. Sefton to get your admission paid. Please note the other tournament games occur early in the day: 7th place - 11:30AM Consolation - 1:00PM 3rd place - 2:30PM They will clear the gym after the 3rd place game. We hope to see the stands FULL to cheer on our Bombers to a CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
