We will be running three bus routes for this evening's routes and for all AM/PM routes for the remainder of the week. If your student lives north of town (on Holly or Michelle’s routes) and can be dropped off or picked up, please contact the school to make arrangements.

Due to the forecasted weather conditions, Brownstown CUSD 201 will have an early release today to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
Elementary School Dismissal: 2:30 PM
High School Dismissal: 2:40 PM

Mrs. Carson's Kindergarten class had a fun time for St. Patrick's Day. The kids were engineers as they designed leprechaun traps in order to catch the leprechaun. Sadly, they were empty handed. They enjoyed the mess that the leprechaun left though
and the tasty treats they made to celebrate St. Patrick's Day!

Ms. Evans' Biology students completed a pollution project to clean up school grounds and were able to clean up 4 large bags, totaling nearly 40 lbs!



Avery Yakel, a 6th grade student, was recognized this morning at the IPA Student Recognition Breakfast at Greenville University. Avery is being recognized for his leadership role in the classroom. He is a kind and considerate person and strives to do his best daily. He is a positive role model & loves helping others! Way to go Avery! We are proud of you!

Illinois Basketball Coaches Association’s All-State Teams have been announced and BSE Bomber Dayana Haslett has been selected to the 2nd Team All State Team. She averaged 22.6 points a game along with 5.1 steals and 2.4 assists per game. Congrats Dayana!


Mrs. Carson's Kindergarten class had a fun-filled Read Across America week with the Dr.Seuss theme!
Monday was Cat in the Hat Day.
Tuesday was Oh the Places You'll Go Day. (Dress-up as who you want to be when you grow up)
Wednesday was Wacky Wednesday.
Thursday was Green Eggs & Ham Day.
Friday was If I Ran a Zoo Day. (Dress as a zoo animal)
