We are excited to invite ALL Brownstown Jr/Sr High Students to Meet Your Locker before the new school year officially starts on Tuesday, August 15th. This is a great opportunity to practice your locker combination and store your school supplies. You can also walk the building and familiarize yourself with your class schedule.
Students may access the building from 8:00 to 3:00 each day. Please enter the building using the East Entrance and stop by the office on your way in. Whether you are a veteran of Brownstown Jr/Sr High School or a first-timer, we welcome you to take advantage of this opportunity. If you have questions, please contact to office at 618-427-3839

High School Volleyball practice begins Monday August 12th 7:30-9:30am and 5:30-8:30pm with the parent meeting at 5:30. Please have a current physical on file and pay your athletic fee before the first day of practice. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Jeni Haslett.

Section 19 FFA Fair (2024)-
Brownstown High School FFA students competed with their livestock projects in the Section 19 FFA Fair, on Friday, Jul 12, 2024. Several of the students won their classes with their goat & swine projects. These students had put in many hours of hard work and dedication to their livestock. Great work and thank you for your commitment.

ATTENTION 9th-12th Grade Boys: If you want to play on the Altamont HS Boys Golf Team this fall, there is a Parent/Player Meeting Tuesday July 23rd @ 6:00pm in the Altamont High School Tech Room across from the Gym entrance. Head coach is Rob Zumbahlen and Asst. Coach is Jim Strange. This is for Brownstown students only.


BSE Jr. High Baseball Conditioning starts July 22nd-24th from 5:00-7:00pm at the JH Baseball Field. This is for 6th, 7th, & 8th graders. The Parent Meeting will be July 24th immediately following conditioning starting at 7:00pm at the field. If your child is planning on playing this fall, they need to make sure they are attending conditioning and the parent meeting. They also need to have a current physical on file with their home school and pay the $50 athletic fee to their home school secretary. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Coach Aaron Miller.

BSE High School Baseball practice begins Aug. 12 at 9am. Be sure to have a current Sports Physical on file in your H.S. office before Aug. 12. The Athletic Fee of $50 will also need to be paid to your H.S. office in order to participate. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Beccue.

Trenton Monnet is the Sectional Champion in both Shot and Disc!
He has advanced to the IHSA State Track Meet held at EIU next week on Thursday.

Congratulations to our JH Tracksters that competed at State this weekend. We had 2 medalists! Ella Morrison placed 5th in hurdles with a time of 17.55 seconds. Kinley Kimberlin placed 5th in shot put with a throw of 8.37 meters.
