Miss Jo from the U of I Extension Office came to see K-2nd graders during PE. She comes once a month to teach kid’s how to keep their bodies healthy.

The 8th grade girls defeated Dieterich 30-19 to capture the JHNTC Consolation Championship. Good work Bombers!

Don and Jacob Bloemker brought their semi tractor trailer in for my Driver Education class. A presentation was given that dealt with sharing the road with large trucks and understanding their blind spots. Students were given the opportunity to get in their rig and physically see the blind spots. They also were given the chance to see and feel the size of the tires on the rigs and trailers.

The 2019 BSE Basketball Camp is underway. Coach Pruett, Coach Fitch and the HS Girls Basketball Team will be holding practices and games @ BHS through December for boys/girls grades 2-5.

Thank you BES parents, grandparents, and students! Our Scholastic book fair was a HUGE success. We were able to purchase almost $1000.00 worth of books for the classrooms! It warmed our hearts to see the students so excited about their new books!
Egyptian Illini Athletic Conference 50/50 raffle tickets are available. The winner is guaranteed to win $1,750! Only 350 tickets will be sold throughout the Conference. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at home events and from Athletic Director, Vince Rohr.
