Kindergarten art students have been learning about texture and made texture collages this week.
Per the IHSA & IESA, Winter Sports remain on hold based upon Tier 3 Mitigations. We are hopeful to offer these sports to our students at some point this year.
Mrs. Boaz and her 8th Period Math III students celebrated Pythagorean Theorem Day. Mrs. Boaz also provided shirts for the class.

Even thought the downtown Christmas event was cancelled, BES student still made ornaments for the tree in the cafeteria.
2nd-5th Grade PE classes played “Do you want to build a snowman” today! They had a lot of fun!
Based upon Illinois Tier 3 Mitigations, the IHSA has hit the pause button on winter sports. All practices and games are on hold for the time being. HS Girls Basketball games will be cancelled 2 weeks in advance if Mitigations aren't lifted. 11/30 and 12/3 HS Girls Basketball games have been cancelled.
Brownstown FFA will be having an FFA Meeting tonight at 6:00 pm!
The Brownstown FFA will be hosting a Veterans Day Drive Thru Dinner on November 11th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Pork burgers, potato salad, and dessert will be served. Veterans eat for free. $5.00 for all other meals.
K-2nd grades had fun throwing a frisbee with a partner today in PE!
