2021 EIC Baseball Regular Season & Tournament Champions!
The JH Girls Basketball Team grabbed a few trophies last night in Vandalia. The 7th Grade Girls won the 7th Grade Old Capital Classic Tournament while the 8th Graders placed 2nd in the 8th Grade Division.
Second graders painted while listening to upbeat music in Art class this week. They were dancing, and even singing along, while they created their masterpieces!

Brownstown CUSD 201- The soft-lockdowns at BES and the Jr/Sr Hs have been lifted. Once again, this action was taken out of an abundance of caution in the interest of safety of students and staff.

At a Special Meeting of the Brownstown Board of Education, the Board voted to approve updated Safe Return to School plans which align to Executive Order 21-18 and the latest IDPH, and ISBE safety guidelines requiring masking for all students, staff, and visitors in school buildings. The revised policies will take effect Tuesday, September 7, 2021. More information will be made available on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.

Tuesdays JH Baseball game has been postponed to Wednesday. The team will practice after school today until 5:00.
There will be a Special Meeting of the Brownstown Board of Education on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. The meeting will be held in the HS Library and will begin at 6:00. The Board will be revisiting the current Return to School plans.
Kindergarten students have been doing great in PE! They got to have a free choice day for being such great listeners this week. Here are a few dancing, playing basketball, and hula hooping.
We’ve been practicing our fitness skills in PE over the past couple weeks! We played Flip the Cone Fitness Challenge and Fitness Jenga.
Reminder, all athletes will need to have an updated physical on file and their athletic fee's paid before they participate in their first practice for upcoming sports. Our basketball seasons are right around the corner!
