Due to the IDPH's decision to only allow 50 spectators in to basketball games, the District has created a Home Game Spectator Policy. Area schools have created policies to accommodate this ruling. Schools will only allow home team fans into games. Fans will not be traveling this year. Each team participant has been given tickets to hand out to family members, only those with tickets will be allowed to enter. Schools have created links for Home/Away games to be viewed online. The links are posted on the District Homepage under" Local Sports Livestream Links."
HS & JH Basketball & Volleyball games are returning! Information regarding Spectators and Live Streaming will be released at a later time.
JH Volleyball vs Windsor/StewStras has been cancelled for tonight.
JH Boys Basketball practices will start after school on Monday, January 25th @ St. Elmo.
5th/6th Grade Co-Ed Basketball practice will start Monday, January 25th. Practices will be held Monday-Thursday after school in the Elementary Gym.
Our Region has been moved down to Tier 1, which means some sports may resume! Games are still pending but practices will resume for HS Girls Basketball (Jan 25), HS Boys Basketball (Jan 21), and JH Volleyball (Jan 20). JH Boys Basketball is TBA. Athletes must have an updated physical on file before participating. Basketball players will also need a parental consent form turned in. More info to come.

Kindergarten art students have been learning about texture and made texture collages this week.
Per the IHSA & IESA, Winter Sports remain on hold based upon Tier 3 Mitigations. We are hopeful to offer these sports to our students at some point this year.
Mrs. Boaz and her 8th Period Math III students celebrated Pythagorean Theorem Day. Mrs. Boaz also provided shirts for the class.

Even thought the downtown Christmas event was cancelled, BES student still made ornaments for the tree in the cafeteria.
