
The 4/15 JH Girls Basketball game vs Sigel will be made up @ Brownstown on Monday, 4/26.

The High School Health Class welcomed Jennifer and Sadie from the ROE to class this week to learn more about fetal alcohol syndrome, drug affected babies, and shaken baby syndrome. They brought doll simulators which showed the physical effects of using drugs while pregnant.



The IESA has announced that they have cancelled the JH State Track Meet this year. They are allowing Sectionals to be held at the assigned schools who are willing to host. BSE will travel to Okaw Valley on 5/8 for Sectionals.

Due to the Pandemic, the IESA has cancelled the JH Girls Basketball State Series. There will be no Regional, Sectional, or State Finals this season.

Seniors who met or exceeded on the SAT were treated to lunch in Vandalia today. Mrs. Boaz accompanied the group: Cassi Payne, Connor Raleigh, McKenzie Fisher, Colton Bell, and Olivia Campbell


Congratulations goes out to our BSE & SEB Basketball Players for their All-Conference selections! Olivia Campbell was named NTC All-Conference 2nd Team for the girls. Caleb Campbell, Gavyn Smith, & Jace McWhorter were named EIC All-Conference 2nd team for the boys. Ean Forbes was named EIC Honorable Mention.

The IHSA, IESA, & IDPH have recently increased the amount of spectators for indoor sports. Due to our current spacing allowances, we will continue to only allow home fans, but we are increasing home fan attendance to 6 spectators per player. Spectators will be required to have an assigned BSE JH Girls Basketball ticket to enter. Those without tickets will not be allowed entrance. All spectators will be required to wear a mask when attending indoor games.
