Seniors had the opportunity to visit Lake Land College today, learn about different careers and talk to college representatives.



The SEB Eagles High School Volleyball Team won the Webber Tournament today. Alivia and Addie were named to the All Tournament Team. Congrats!


Mrs. Carson's Kindergarten class had a great time learning about apples! They learned about the apple life cycle, different ways to eat apples, the parts of an apple, taste tested apples, made apple nachos, made applesauce, and celebrated Johnny Appleseed Day.










BSE 8th Grade JH Girls Basketball Team got 2nd place at the Old Capital Classic in Vandalia with a record of 2-1.

Seniors and parents are learning about the Financial Aid process and the steps to complete the FAFSA for College. Great turnout!

Congratulations to the SEB JH Softball team for an awesome season. They came up short on Saturday at Sectionals but should be very proud. They ended the season with a record of 13-7.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is coming to BHS!!!
Our first event is See You At The Pole this Wednesday September 25th @ 7:30am in front of the high school. Everyone is invited to come! The local churches in town will be feeding breakfast to all the students who attend.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, Evening Hours

Reports to: Mr. Dave Lund, Superintendent
Brownstown CUSD 201 is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as an Evening Custodian. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for our students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and be able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
Empty trash and recycling bins.
Ensure that all school facilities are locked and secure at the end of the shift.
Report any maintenance issues or needed repairs.
Assist with setting up and breaking down for events, if needed.
Follow safety guidelines and protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior custodial experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
