Location: Brownstown Jr./Sr. High School Position: Evening Custodian Schedule: Monday through Friday, Evening Hours Start Date: Immediate Opening Reports to: Mr. Dave Lund, Superintendent Brownstown CUSD 201 is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as an Evening Custodian. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for our students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and be able to work independently. Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors. Empty trash and recycling bins. Ensure that all school facilities are locked and secure at the end of the shift. Report any maintenance issues or needed repairs. Assist with setting up and breaking down for events, if needed. Follow safety guidelines and protocols. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior custodial experience is a plus but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently. Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
