District will continue to provide meals during the shut-down.

Parents and Guardians of Brownstown Students,

As a result of Governor Pritzker's executive order, Brownstown schools will be closed March 17-30.  During this time, the District will continue to operate its food service programs for district students.  The cafeteria will be providing "Grab and Go" style breakfasts and lunches for all PK-12 grade students, free of charge.  Meals can be picked up at the BES Cafeteria from 8:00-10:30 am each day.  Students can pick up both meals at the same time.

We are exploring the option of delivery for students who live outside the village.  The decision to deliver will be based on the level of participation among families who have students who ride the bus. This information will be collected on the meal survey.

In order to determine participation and to get an accurate breakfast and lunch count necessary for planning each day's meals, we are asking that parents who are interested complete the Brownstown #201 Grab and Go Meal Survey.

All meals will be complete, balanced, and meet the same nutritional standards as all regular school meals.

Please continue to check the District web page for additional information and updates.  If you have questions please contact your respective school office or the District office.
