Brownstown Jr/Sr High School has welcomed several new teachers to Brownstown this year.  One of the teachers we have a privilege of having is the new high school math teacher, Ms. Booher.  Let’s take a look at the events leading up to her teaching here.

Ms. Booher became interested in teaching in elementary school.  She had a couple of wonderful teachers during her 2nd and 3rd grade years that helped influence her to teach.  After she graduated, she went to college at Texas A&I, now known as Texas A&M. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science: Education, and her Bachelor of Science: Engineering.

Ms. Booher has taught at several different schools throughout her years of teaching.  She has taught from 6th grade to college level! Quite a span! Ms. Booher taught in schools in Texas, South Carolina, Virginia, and now we have the privilege of welcoming her to our own home here in Brownstown, Illinois!

Ms. Booher says, “I love Brownstown.  It’s a nice community, and the people are nice.”  She loves to work with the students in her class. Welcome to Brownstown, Ms. Booher! We look forward to you teaching here!
