On March 19th, the World Bird Sanctuary of St. Louis visited Brownstown Elementary to present their "Birds of Prey" presentation. 5th and 6th graders from Brownstown, St. Elmo, and St. Peter elementary attended. The speakers talked about the importance of conservation and what students and their parents can do to protect the endangered birds around the area. Birds at the presentation included an eastern screech owl, a barn owl, and a bald eagle. The students had a great time seeing these instesting birds.
