School spirit ran wild on october 4th, when BHS put on the first PBIS reward day of the year. Students were divided into color-coded teams based on grade to compete in an epic tournament of town ball, which is a more challenging, energetic side of kickball. Classes were dismissed for the afternoon so that both faculty and students could compete for the championship. The tournament was double elimination and consisted of either six minute innings or three outs. Both students and staff fought their hardest in an attempt to make it to the top. After handfuls of close scores, the final game was played by the senior camo team and the eighth-grade orange team.Though a tight play, team camo won the day by one point, putting team orange in at a close second. Following was a final game between all seniors and staff, bringing the event to an end.The trophy ball was signed by the players and placed in the display case for years to come. Now students can only anticipate the next PBIS day, a mystery still unrevealed.
