This year’s annual Brownstown High School Sports Boosters Fish Fry was a great success. With all of the meal tickets, desserts, raffle items, and 50/50 drawings the program made $4,100! Our community did an awesome job coming together to make this night happen. Thirty-five desserts were donated to the event. Additional donations from Chad Mayfield- Rough Cut Creations, the First National Bank of Brownstown, Vandalia Electric, Hunter Appliance, Richardson Brothers Greenhouse, Denny’s, Andy’s Auto Body, Brownstown Florals and Gifts, Tammy Barker- Mary Kay, Buckstop Archery, Waltrip’s Corner, Vandalia Radio Station, RDM Designs, Sperry’s service, Brian and Amy Pruett, Mason’s Masonry, and Champion Trophies and T’s. Brownstown and St. Elmo School Districts also donated three family athletic passes. The first place ticket seller was Bryton Pruett selling twenty tickets and the second place ticket seller was Caleb Atwood selling thirteen tickets. The top seller will be awarded fifty dollars and second place will receive twenty-five. The sports team who sold the most tickets will also receive a pizza party. This night would not have happened without our amazing volunteers and all those who contributed.
