The future of our generation are the students who go to school daily across the globe. Thankfully, we have school board members like Barb Morrison who want to make a difference in students’ lives. Barb grew up in Brownstown, attended school there, and graduated from Brownstown High School. She then went on to Lakeland College where she studied computers and office skills. Barb worked for the school for thirty-two years before retiring as a bus driver and director of buses. She finished her working career for the district as bus driver director, working out of the unit office where she scheduled routes, held contact information, prepared for substitutes, and made sure the buses were state inspected. Barb has been married to David Morrison for forty-eight years. They have three daughters: Cindy, Judy, and Annette, and nine grandchildren ranging in age from six to twenty-five. Barb would like to thank every board member and teacher in the Brownstown Schools who work hard to give every student the best education possible, which is not an easy task. We would also like to thank Barb and the other board members for making a difference in the lives of all students at BCUSD 201.
