Ronald McDonald House Charities

posted May 15, 2016, 12:29 PM by School Publications

Representing the Brownstown School students/family/friends/community, the 4th grade students took 34.2 pounds of aluminum tabs to Sefton HCE President Flo Allen.  Brownstown students, along with their friends and families have been assisting the Sefton HCE with their ongoing project to collect tabs for Ronald McDonald House charities for many years.

One of the students in this group shared that when he was born, his family appreciated the availability of a Ronald McDonald House.  Ronald McDonald House Charities allow families with sick children to be close to each other and the facilities and resources they need during treatment.

Tabs will continue to be collected during the coming year.  Please save tabs over the summer and send them in with your students at any time during the next school year.  The tabs may be given  to Brownstown PE/Health teacher, Sandra Stine.
