There are many advantages to reading, especially at Brownstown High School. Here at BHS we are given many opportunities to branch out and expand our minds in the form of the written word. The librarian at BHS has done an excellent job ordering new books for students to enjoy.  In the school’s library there are different collections of books that can earn you rewards.  A few of the programs include the Abraham Lincoln collection, Read for a Lifetime, and Rebecca Caudill. One student from the junior high and one from the high school will be awarded a fifty dollar Visa card donated from the First National Bank of Brownstown for having the most Accelerated Reader points. We only have four weeks left in school but it’s never too late to start broadening your horizons. Grab a book and get started!
