PBIS Goes to the Movies

posted Feb 12, 2016, 7:10 AM by School Publications

Friday, February 12th, Brownstown Jr/Sr High School students will attended a movie at Starmax Cinemas in Vandalia to celebrate their second PBIS reward day.  Students in 7th-12th grade can attend if they have had one office discipline referral or less since October 19th.  The students can choose between two movies, Pixels or Captive.  Students will need to bring in $2 to help with the cost of the movie, popcorn, and a drink.  The remaining costs will be paid by the PBIS fund.  PBIS acknowledgement days happen three times a school year to award students for good behavior.  This type of reward encourages the student body to unite to have positive behavior throughout the year.  The next PBIS day is in May for all students with no office discipline referrals.  Make sure to stay out of trouble so you too can enjoy your reward!
