Parent teacher conferences are just around the corner. On January 29th the parents of students enrolled at BHS can walk into the school and discuss with teachers how their child is performing academically . Parents may also check Teacherease.com, a website that is paired up with the school system where teachers insert student's grades electronically and comment on behavior. It is also a great tool for students to observe how well they are doing in each of their classes. If a student is excelling in school they can be exempt from spring semester finals. A student may be exempt from finals if he or she has a “B” average in all of their classes and has missed no more than five days of school, or if they have an “A” average in all of their classes and have missed no more than six days of school. Every teacher at Brownstown High School encourage each student to keep their grades high and have a goal to make that spring exemption.
