School Publications recently interviewed, Joel Bloemker, Brownstown High School’s Student of the Month.  Joel’s favorite book is the Harry Potter series.  His idol is his Minister of his church.  Joel lives in Brownstown, Illinois.  Joel is a good student because he makes good grades and turns his homework in on time.  He told us he decided to do well in school when he was in Kindergarten.  Joel has two siblings.  Joel’s parents are Don and Talisha Bloemker.  Joel also told us the way he will continue his good work ethic out of high school is by surrounding himself with good people that motivate him.  After high school Joel wants to go into the Science Department and maybe teach.  Joel is such a good student because he is a good kid.

Recently School Publications has also interviewed, Lukas Miller, Brownstown Jr. High School’s Student of the Month.  His favorite book is Guts by Gary Paulsen.  Lukas said his idol is Jimmie Johnson.  Lukas lives in Brownstown, Illinois.  Lukas told us that he is a good student because he is quiet in class and tries his best in class.  He decided he wanted to do well in school when he had to make good grades for sports.  Lukas has 3 siblings.  His parents are Barry and Kelly Miller.  Lukas said, he will carry on his good work ethic out of high school by being a good kid for society.  Lukas is still unsure about what he wants to do after high school.  We enjoyed interviewing these students and hope that they continue to do well.
