March Students of the Month

School Publications has interviewed, Lane Himes, High School’s Student of the Month.  We asked him a few questions. Lane’s favorite book is Frankenstein. His idol is Yadier Molina, the St. Louis Cardinals Catcher.  Lane was born and raised in Brownstown. Lane says he is such a good student because he has a future set and wants to better his life.  Lane said he has wanted to do good in school since elementary school. He has 3 siblings. His parents are Frank Austin and Carol White.  Lane says he will continue to do well by working hard in college. When lane gets out of high school he wants to become a nurse. Lane says he is so popular because he feeds the youth his knowledge.  


School Publications has also interviewed, Grace Austin, Jr. High School’s Student of the Month. We asked her a few questions as well.  Her favorite book is Hoot. Her idol is her dad. She lives in Brownstown, out by Liberty Christian Church on a farm. She is such a good student because she studies a lot and helps people if they need it and is a good student in all of her classes.  Grace said she decided to do good in school about 2 months ago. She has 4 siblings. Her parents are Kassie Austin and Aaron Austin. She will continue to do well out of high school by keeping her grades up and being a good person. Grace wants to be a Veterinarian when she gets older.  She is popular because she tries to keep all of her friends happy.
