The Washington University Neurofibromatosis (NF) Center, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, and Team NF are hosting this occasion. The NF Center's Club NF will travel to FuNFest to help support the event. Club NF is a family-focused educational program for children with NF1. Their goal is to provide opportunities for families to learn how they can use everyday activities to improve skills frequently underdeveloped or delayed in children with NF1. NF therapists will lead games and activities that reinforce motor skills, which are commonly delayed in children with NF1. FuNFest is free to enter. The cost is $10 per person for unlimited games and bounce houses. Food and drink are available for $1-3. Every child must be accompanied by his/her parent or guardian. Please RSVP by Friday, October 2, to Kirsten Brouillet at brouilletk@neuro.wustl.edu by Addison Cage |
