School is on the verge of ending and that means summer is just around the corner. Are you looking for an exciting and educational experience that you won’t forget? If you or your child are between the ages of 8 and 18 you're eligible to attend the Effingham Performance Center Summer Youth Theatre Camp in Effingham, Illinois. During each session the camp teaches a wide variety of skills needed to become successful in the world of theatre which include: improvisational acting, voice lessons, auditioning, and much more. The camp provides two sessions, the first on June 15th through June 25th, and then again on July 6th through July 16th. The first session is for beginner to intermediate actors who will study the basics of acting. The second session is for intermediate to advanced actors who are ready to take the stage. The cost is $100 per session before May 15th, and $125 after. Brownstown 7th grader Max Schraer attended the camp last year and said that he had a great time and will definitely return.
