On Saturday, October 8 the Brownstown Library held a fundraiser that featured many talented artists. These included Nadine, the sassy church lady from “Larry’s Country Diner” from RFD-TV and Marlon Hargis from the band Exile. Mr. Hargis is also known for his eleven number one singles and his songwriting for many artists, including country band Alabama.  The fundraiser also included T. Graham Brown a singer, songwriter, and producer who has recorded fifteen albums and has many number one hits on several billboards. To round out the show Steve Ingram, an accomplished M/C and humorist, added much humor to the evening. The popular country dance band Thunder Road also made an appearance; they are known as one of the most popular country dance bands in Southeast Central Illinois. The Brownstown Library and community would like to thank everyone involved in planning this event, as well as the audience who came to support the library fund and have a fun music filled night.
