American Red Cross Blood Drive

Thirty minutes of your time can help save three lives. That is a huge impact in a short amount of time. Your blood can help save a premature baby, a cancer patient in need of a blood transfusion, or a patient in open heart surgery experiencing blood loss. I have had the privilege to do volunteer work at the American Red Cross Blood Drive twice a year since 2013. As National Honor Society President, I have been offered a scholarship opportunity through the American Red Cross.

On January 6, 2016, from 2-7 pm, I am hosting a community blood drive at the Brownstown Elementary Cafeteria. I am blessed that I have the opportunity to host a blood drive in hopes of making a difference in my community and helping save lives of the innocent patients that are in need. I hope that everyone can come donate blood and make a difference in someone's life, because in the long run donating blood is worth it. If you would like to schedule an appointment, you can go to redcrossblood.org and search for Browsntown blood drive or walk-in appointments are available as well. I look forward to a great turn out and appreciate everyone's time.
